Annoying Brother Review

Rating : 5 out of 5

Here’s another South Korean movie review that i would like to share with you, because the movie was so gewd like, you should watch it in your spare time. This somewhat is a simple plot movie and somewhat cliché but I don’t care about it. The director was choosing a perfectly matched actor that made this movie looks great.

The movie was released in November 23, 2016 by CJ Entertainment. Starring Jo Jung Suk, Do Kyung Soo and Park Shin Hye. In 2017, Do Kyung Soo earns 4 awards from this movie as the most popular actor, newcomer, star and best new actor. This movie genre is actually a comedy drama but I found it more like a sad drama. The movie reached 3 million views in mid-December and a topped local box office and was released in Japan on May 19, 2017.

*SPOILER ALERT* A family movie that I recommend you to watch because the plot was easily understand and they put some onions for some scene and I almost got my tears out just by seeing Kyung Soo acts on this movie. The movie is about a Judo athlete, Doo Young (Kyung Soo) who got into an accident that made he lost his sight permanently and he began his life alone in the house without family. His brother, Doo Shik (Jung Suk) who is in prison takes advantage of his brother’s to get paroled. Doo Shik was so bad at him and after some time, he began to get close to Doo Young as he realized how lonely Doo Young when Doo Shik left him and the story goes on with a twist. Doo Shik finds out that he’s in the final stage of terminal cancer and he’s going to die. For the last moment of his life, he helps Doo Young to win gold at Rio Paralympics, which will secure Doo Young’s future.

Jo Jung Suk

He is a husband of Gummy, the South Korean singer. Jung Suk was born on December 26, 1980 and started his career in theater at 2004. He is a famous artist who played in over 10 films, he also starred in Legend of the Blue Sea in 2016 as Yoo Jeong Hoon and according to my research, he played in a lot of theater and he is also a singer, he featuring Kyung Soo was singing Don’t Worry for My Annoying Brother.

In this movie, he is Go Doo Shik and he played as an older brother for the blind Judo athletes.

Do Kyung Soo

I bet a teenager will know him well as he is a singer and one of the EXO members. He known as D.O and was labeled from SM Entertainment. He was born on January 12, 1993 and active since 2012. He played on Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds and Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days as Private Won Dong Yeon. He acts as the main role in the drama, 100 Days My Prince.

In this movie, he is a blind Judo athlete and played as Go Doo Young.

Park Shin Hye

I know Park Shin Hye from The Heirs and she is a beautiful woman. She was born in February 18, 1990 and gained recognition for starring in melodramas Stairway to Heaven in 2003. In 2015, she ranked 33rd in Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list and 12th in 2017. She is under S.A.L.T Entertainment and was active since she was 13 years old. Wait what? She has been in a relationship with actor Choi Tae Joon since 2017. Congratulation unnie. She had a lot of ambassador roles since 2009.

In this movie, she played as Lee Soo Hyun, the coach for Go Doo Young.

When the brother protected DO because there was a guy who makes him down onto the floor. That’s when I think about how important your siblings are. He had a great heart even if he was not so polite to his younger brother.
